LOVELAND -- Larry Kendall, co-founder of The Group Inc. Real Estate, was honored Wednesday night with the 2007 Bravo! Lifetime Achievement Award from the Northern Colorado Business Report.

Kendall, who helped found the Fort Collins firm in 1976, stepped down from his role as chairman of The Group in 2005 but still remains closely involved with the ongoing success of the company, which has more than a dozen offices throughout Larimer and Weld counties.

Also honored with Bravo! Entrepreneur Awards during the 10th annual event at The Ranch were:

  • Linda Ligon, owner and founder of Interweave Press, Loveland Award
  • Steve Byers, founder of EnergyLogic, Emerging Entrepreneur Award
  • Martin Lind, Water Valley developer, Outlying Communities Award
  • Marsi Liddell, Aims Community College president, Regional Spirit Award
  • Larry Seastrom, New Frontier Bank president and CEO, Greeley Award
  • Rulon Stacey, Poudre Valley Hospital System CEO, Fort Collins Award
