The 3rd Annual Community-Wide Shoe Drive will be held through the month of November. Children and adults are invited to clean out their closets and donate their new or gently used footwear to people in need in our community and beyond. Donations can be dropped off at Brown's Shoe Fit Co., 3500 S. College Ave., or the Keller Williams Realty office, 1220 S. College. This year's goal is to collect more than 3,500 pairs of shoes.

KUDOS

Fort Collins-based Jet Marketing was presented the Bronze Leaf Award for Excellence in Healthcare Advertising at the annual awards ceremony for Colorado Healthcare Communicators, which recognizes the best healthcare communication projects in the state. Jet Marketing was awarded the Bronze Leaf in recognition for a print campaign for The Memorial Hospital at Craig.

Engineering and sustainability consulting firm Brendle Group was awarded the City of Fort Collins 2011 Urban Design Award in the Green Design category for the renovation of its new headquarters at 212 W. Mulberry in Fort Collins. The award recognizes outstanding green building design and renovation projects.
