Longmont United Hospital and Poudre Valley Health System announced that cardiovascular surgeons Mark B. Douthit and Thomas L. Matthew have joined the Poudre Valley Medical Group. This commitment to PVHS will be the first step in expanding a regional heart program that supports Northern Colorado, western Nebraska and southern Wyoming.
Laura Thompson and Lindsey Bustamante have joined Sears Real Estate as broker associates.
The Northern Colorado Home Builders Association honored Steve Spanjer, president of Fort Collins-based Spanjer Homes, with the 2011 Builder of the Year award at the Annual Installation and Awards Banquet in November. Spanjer was previously recognized with Builder of the Year Award in 1993. Tara Buckner, Spanjer Home's construction manager, was installed as one of Northern Colorado HBA's 2012 vice presidents on the board of directors.
Jeff Dahlke joined i-cubed in Fort Collins as marketing and sales coordinator. Dahlke will be responsible for generating industry-specific growth of the DataDoors/GAME enterprise geospatial imagery and asset management solutions. He most recently worked as program manager, enterprise solutions at Red Hen Systems.
Mantooth Marketing Co. added Deb Alles as marketing and event account manager. Alles will focus primarily on the Loveland, Windsor and Johnstown areas, but will assist Mantooth in all of their marketing efforts. Mantooth Marketing is a full-service marketing company that has been serving Northern Colorado and beyond for 16 years.
Diane Burnes joined TLC Payroll team as client service manager with a business background that includes more than 10 years of payroll experience. Her expertise supports the sales, client service, and operation efforts. Jeramie Holt joined TLC as director of client relations. Holt also brings more than 10 years of experience with a specific focus on payroll and HR.
The board of directors of Project Self-Sufficiency elected new officers Tom Tonoli, president; Stacy Plemmons, president-elect; Noreen Flood, fiscal officer; Jane Ray, secretary; and David Besch, past president for the 2011-2012 fiscal year. Jolene Blair was elected to the board of directors. Returning board members include Cindy Bragdon, Greg Churchman, Linda Clark, Charlie Cuypers, Laurie Hansen, Carla Jeffrey, Diane Knight, Marci Oates, Corkie Odell and Gary Premer.
Engaging Loveland welcomed Ann Marie Cole, senior sales manager for Embassy Suites in Loveland, and Sean McCarthy, president of the Colorado Coaching Co., as new board members. Engaging Loveland collaborates within the community to develop and support community-wide events and enhance tourism.
Melissa Whitten has been selected at the ad-hoc chair of the Northern Colorado Human Resource Association. Whitten's primary responsibilities include overseeing projects, assisting chair members to enhance communication and fostering enhanced relations with the general public. The NCHRA is dedicated to promoting human resource excellence by providing support, resources and development opportunities to Northern Colorado-based HR professionals.
RC Special Events hired Carol Thomas, who assumes the role of sales manager for its Boulder location. Thomas comes from A-One Weddings & Events in Cheyenne where, as the owner, she specialized in design, decor, wedding and event planning.
