Loveland - Advanced Manufacturing Technology is growing again.

The company, which designs and makes conveying systems for bottles, cans, caps and cartons, broke ground this week on a new facility at 3920 Patton Ave. in east Loveland.

The 10,080-square-foot building, being built by Drahota Construction, will be used primarily for warehousing and storage to support the company's growth. Construction is scheduled to be complete in May.

The company recently added approximately 12 jobs, according to a spokeswoman, and plans on adding approximately a dozen more when the new facility opens.

"We established AMT 15 years ago with the mission to develop the best technology in the world for handling empty soft drink bottles," Tom Ingraham, president of AMT, said in a press release. "With that task now complete, we need more manufacturing floor space to accommodate the extra demand."

AMT occupies 30,000 square feet in Loveland and employs more than 100 people. It brings in more than $20 million in revenue annually, according to a statement by the company.

The company, started in 1996, had been located in Fort Collins but moved to Loveland in 2003.

AMT's clients include Coke and Pepsi.
