LOVELAND - Alpine Lumber has sold a 17,500-square-foot facility at 3915 Garfield Ave. to Luke Cos. for $865,000.

The building is a custom facility for the manufacture of container and shipping materials, according to broker Larry Melton, one of two real estate agents from Realtec Commercial Real Estate Services who brokered the transaction.

The facility sits on 175,000 square feet of land, Melton said.
Alpine Lumber closed the location in September 2010. The company still operates lumber yards and other facilities throughout Colorado and northern New Mexico, including a lumber yard in Frederick.
