UNC Foundation names new president

GREELEY - The board of directors for the University of Northern Colorado Foundation has named Cynthia Evans president.

Evans is a UNC alum and also taught at the university from 2005 to 2010.

The UNC Foundation manages the money raised by UNC, handling accounting, investing and stewardship of approximately $95 million in assets. The foundation also maintains the alumni and donor database for the university.

Evans will officially step into the role Feb. 15.
