Hewlett-Packard has donated a total of more than $285,000 in equipment to the Fort Collins Museum of Discovery.

The HP Site Leadership Team first began developing ideas for how HP technology could be used in the museum in 2010. The team spent a year selecting the best equipment for the museum's design.

"The engineers brought a level of expertise to the planning process that enabled us to design exhibits that will include the latest HP technology and achieve our mission to inspire inquisitive thinkers and encourage responsible stewardship of the past, present and future," said Annette Geiselman, executive director of the museum.

The Museum of Discovery is a located at 408 Mason Court in Fort Collins. It is expected to open in late summer.
