Firestone Mayor Chad Auer said the evening was a great opportunity for him and fellow board members to strengthen networks of support throughout Northern Colorado. Not only was he able to visit with fellow mayors, council members, trustees and economic development advocates, he spent a good deal of time visiting with friends on the St. Vrain Valley School District Board of Education.
“Firestone is a big supporter and participant in the Unity in the Community event, both with our booth to invite people to learn more about Firestone and through conversation with leaders from around the region,” he said.
Firestone was represented at the event by Mayor Chad Auer, Mayor Pro-tem Paul Sorensen, Trustee Bobbi Sindelar, Trustee Darrell Walsh, Trustee Matt Holcomb, Town Manager Wesley LaVanchy, Town Planner Bruce Nickerson, Planning Commissioner George Heath, and Communications and Community Outreach Coordinator Kristi Ritter.
