The Colorado Department of Local Affairs has awarded $59,100 in Community Development Block Grant funds to Larimer County for the Larimer Home Ownership Program.

The grant funds will be used to provide LHOP with administrative dollars to make 24 low-interest loans to assist first-time home buyers earning less than 80 percent of the area median income.

The program is available for homes located in non-entitlement areas of Larimer County, excluding the cities of Loveland and Fort Collins.
