NCMC Foundation awards $72,000 in scholarships
Eight scholarships were awarded to high school and college students, most of whom are studying or plan to study nursing. Recipients include graduating high school seniors, currently-enrolled college students, and non-traditional students.
Many of the scholarships given are in memory of health care professionals who made significant contributions to their field and to Northern Colorado, particularly Weld County.
The NCMC Foundation awards scholarships annually to promote health care education. To date, the foundation has awarded scholarships to more than 80 people.
