Bohemian Foundation is opening registration for its Bridges out of Poverty Northern Colorado 2012 trainings. The first workshops will be offered May 17 and 18 and will feature Scott Miller and Jodi Pfarr, two nationally renowned speakers on poverty alleviation. The workshops are free but registration is required.
Registration for the Larimer Humane Society’s 22nd annual Fire Hydrant 5, 5k Walk/Run and Pet Expo is now open. The Fire Hydrant 5 is the community’s largest outdoor fundraiser for homeless pets in Colorado. Proceeds will directly benefit the nearly 12,000 lost, stray, orphaned and injured domestic and wild animals the LHS cares for each year. Registration is online at www.larimerhuman.org or at the LHS administrative office.
