EVANS - Call-center company Afni will hire more than 150 full-time customer-service representatives as it expands its operations in Evans, the company said Thursday.

The customer-service representatives will answer inbound calls from Afni clients customers and help with product, service and billing questions. The company serves the telecommunications, insurance, financial services and health care industries in Colorado, Illinois, Alabama, Arizona, Florida and Kentucky.

Afni will hold a job fair fromp 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. next Thursday at its Evans location, 3001 Eighth Ave., or people can apply online at Afnicareers.com.

The company said it offers competitive pay, paid training and benefits such as medical, dental, vision, life insurance, disability coverage, paid time off and 401(k).

The company's Evans location has grown quickly since the call center opened in 2010 with 250 employees. Afni said earlier this year that it would hire another 50 employees to add to its 400 staffers.
