A report from the Associated General Contractors of America shows that the number of construction jobs in Greeley increased by 4 percent from 10,400 to 10,800 year-over-year in April.
In the Fort Collins-Loveland area, the number decreased by 3 percent from 7,300 to 7,100.
The figures reported by the AGC include jobs in construction, mining and logging. The figure for Colorado increased by 3 percent from 136,800 to 141,200 from April 2011.
Grand Junction saw the largest increase in construction jobs, 6 percent, while Colorado Springs saw the biggest drop in the state, a 7 percent decline.
