The deadline for submitting applications for the 2012 Old Fashioned Corn Roast Festival parade is Aug. 3. Applicants are eligible for an early-bird discount of $10 per entry if submitted by July 6. Corn shucking contest team applications are due by 5 p.m. Aug. 17. Thirty-five teams of up to seven participants will compete on a first-come, first-served basis. The entry fee is $150 per team.
