Fort Collins near top in Colo. for home-price increases
Zillow's Real Estate Market Report for May shows a 2.6 percent increase in home prices in Fort Collins year-over-year in May. Only Denver had a larger increase, moving up 2.8 percent. Boulder saw an increase of 0.7 percent, and all other metropolitan areas saw decreases in home prices.
The report did not include data for Greeley. The report shows that the weakest markets in the state are Grand Junction and Pueblo, with decreases of 3.5 percent and 7.8 percent respectively. Zillow estimates home prices in Fort Collins at $219,000.
Nationally, home prices decreased 0.9 percent in May, according to Zillow's report.
