Home sales in Larimer County continued upward in June, but continued to decline in Weld, according to the latest data from Loveland-based Information Real Estate Services.

Home sales for the Loveland-Berthoud area through June were up 17.8 percent to 796 from 676 in the same period in 2011

A total of 197 homes were sold in the Loveland-Berthoud area in June with a median sales price of $240,891, up 9.5 percent from the $220,000 median home sales price of June 2011.

Home sales through June also increased in Fort Collins, with the number of sold listings moving up by 18.6 percent from 1,074 year-to-date in June 2011 to 1,274 in the same period of 2012.

The IRES report said 309 homes were sold in Fort Collins in June with a median sales price of $251,200, up 4.6 percent from the $240,000 median sales price in June 2011.

In the Greeley-Evans market, home sales decreased by 9.6 percent through June. A total of 562 homes were sold through June, down from the 622 homes sold through June 2011.

In Greeley-Evans, 102 homes were sold in June alone with a median sales price of $150,750, up 8.5 percent from the median sales price a year earlier, at $139,000.
