FORT COLLINS - OtterBox is growing yet again, this time making its first foray into Weld County real estate with a distribution center located in Frederick.

The facility is located at 4195 Salazar Way, and encompasses 200,000 square feet, 183,000 of which will be used to increase distribution capacity. The remaining space will be used for customer service, information technology and other operational teams.

In all, the building will house about 150 employees.

OtterBox also maintains a 75,000-square-foot distribution center in Fort Collins, as well as a "campus" in downtown Fort Collins that includes the company's headquarters.

Earlier this year, OtterBox announced other expansion plans, including the construction of another new building downtown.
