Guaranty Bank & Trust Co. has acquired Private Capital Management, a Denver-based investment management firm.

Private Capital Management is now a division of Guaranty Bank's Wealth Management Group. Terms of the deal were not disclosed. Guaranty Bank is based in Denver, and has branches throughout Northern Colorado.

Private Capital Management serves the financial planning and investment management needs of wealthy individuals and families nationwide.

Company founder Thomas Meade will remain president, and there will be no changes to the firm's investment process, financial planning or investment advisory services.
