The Board of Larimer County Commissioners has lifted fire restrictions for the county.

The ban was imposed during the High Park Fire in June. The rules now allow open camp fires and agricultural burns, both of which were prohibited during the ban.

Surrounding counties and the U.S. Forest Service have also lifted their bans, according to a release from the county.

Residents are reminded to continue to exercise caution, as conditions remain dry in spite of recent rains.
