FORT COLLINS - The committee tasked with deciding the feasibility of an on-campus stadium at CSU informed CSU President Tony Frank Thursday night that the project is indeed feasible.

Findings submitted to Frank say that the $246 million project, if approved, could open in time for the fall semester in 2015.

During the committee's first meeting since May 30, the four subcommittees reported to Frank the findings of work conducted over the summer. The main purpose of the meeting, though was for the committee to make a recommendation to Frank about the proposed stadium.

"There will be challenges both financially and logistically, but we believe the project is feasible," said Amy Parsons, CSU vice president for university operations and co-chair of the committee.

Frank said that his next steps would be to "drill down" on the report. Frank said that he wanted to put a lot of thought into the decision, but did not want to draw the process out longer than necessary.

Frank anticipates that he can complete his analysis of the report, which is nearly 120 pages long, in advance of the Oct. 4 meeting of the CSU Board of Governors. If Frank decides to move forward with the proposed stadium, the Board
