CSU Ventures gets new associate vice president
Otsuga comes from the University of Kentucky's Technology Transfer Office, where he served as executive director. He also has worked in technology transfer industry and university activities in California and Utah.
Otsuga spent three years as founding director at South Dakota State University's Technology Transfer Office. In that role, he helped increase licensing revenue by 250 percent and industry-sponsored research awards by 540 percent, according to CSU.
"With 10 years of combined experience in technology acquisition for industry and technology commercialization leadership in academia, Denny is a significant addition to the CSU Ventures team and CSU," CSU Ventures President Todd Headley said in a statement.
