EVENTS

Birdies on the Green, a women-only annual golfing event hosted by the McKee Medical Center Foundation, is set for noon on Aug. 16 at the Olde Course in Loveland. The event is designed to include beginner golfers and will feature 18, nine, six and three-hole tournaments, along with golf instruction, food and drink. Registration fees are $65 per person ($75 for 18-hole players) and all proceeds go to support the Stepping Stones Adult Day Program at McKee Medical Center.


HIGH PARK FIRE

Kool Rides Custom Detailing in Fort Collins dedicated 5 percent of total sales in July to High Park Fire victims. Owner Mike Nelson donated the $1,000 raised to the American Red Cross in early August.
