ANNIVERSARIES

The Institute of Business & Medical Careers will celebrate 25 years of providing business, medical, legal and massage career training to individuals in Northern Colorado and Southern Wyoming this month. To kick-off its anniversary, IBMC will hold an open house at local campuses from 6-8 p.m. on Aug. 28. The event will include drawings, tours and refreshments.


CHARITY

The Elevations Foundation of Boulder presented the Long Term Recovery Group of Northern Colorado with a check for $36,312. The fund was specifically earmarked for temporary housing for those individuals and families displaced by the High Park Fire. The fund was launched in June with a $10,000 Challenge Grant from the Elevations Foundation, the philanthropic arm of Elevations Credit Union.

Bank of Colorado branches throughout the state are accepting donations to support the American Red Cross Disaster Relief Fund. This fund will help Colorado families affected by disasters like the Colorado wildfires. Bank of Colorado will collect donations and match those funds collected up to a total of $15,000 through Aug. 31. For more information, go to
