FORT COLLINS - The City of Fort Collins will hold an open house to discuss its Student Housing Action Plan at 4 p.m. on Aug. 29.

The city began work on the student housing plan in March 2011 in an attempt to develop strategies to provide an adequate supply of quality student housing for students of CSU and Front Range Community College.

City staff are prepared to reveal their findings and suggestions relating to neighborhood compatibility, parking, transportation, accountability and community education. The matter is scheduled to go before City Council in October.

The open house will be held in the community room at the city offices, located at 215 N. Mason St.
