Greeley No. 4 on list of fastest-growing metros
Between 2000 and 2010, Greeley's growth rate was 4.1 percent. The city is expected to grow by 8.4 percent over the next five years, adding 7,637 new households in total, at an annual rate of 1.7 percent.
Ninety-eight percent of U.S. metropolitan areas are expected to grow between 2012 and 2017, but annual growth rates are expected to slow in 78 percent of metro areas when compared to annual rates between 2000 and 2010.
The three metro areas that ranked higher than Greeley on the latest list are Jacksonville, N.C., Palm Coast, Fla., and Hanford-Corcoran, Calif.
