FORT COLLINS — Cimarron Plaza, a retail center at the southwest corner of Drake Road and Shields Street, has been sold for just over $2 million.

The 12,475-square-foot center was acquired by Kims Investments Inc., a corporation based in Nebraska. The shopping center is 90-percent occupied by five existing tenants.

The new owner will search for a tenant to occupy the remaining space, which consists of about 1,521 square feet.

Josh Guernsey and Kevin Brinkman of Brinkman Partners and Dan Grooters and Riki Hashimoto of Newmark Grubb Knight Frank brokered the transaction.
