Capital West National Bank to change charter, rebrand in 2013
Capital West is located in Fort Collins, but the bank also has two branches in Wyoming, operating under the name First National Bank of Wyoming.
Effective Dec. 31, the three branches will operate under one name, Capital West Bank.
The bank will change its charter from a national charter to a state charter. The bank's ownership and management team will remain the same.
"Our building signs will change and customers will notice an updated logo, but we want to assure them that this will not affect the service and personal relationships that they value at their community bank," said Kelso Kelly, president and CEO of the bank.
Services at the bank will remain unaffected by the transition.
Earlier this year, Capital West came out from under the scrutiny it had faced from the Federal Deposit Insurance Corp. and other regulatory bodies.
