FORT COLLINS - New Belgium Brewing will soon add two states to the list of those that distribute its beers.

Beginning in mid-March, New Belgium's brews will be distributed in Alaska, and on April 1, they will be available in Louisiana.

Louisiana will be the 31st state to carry New Belgium beer. The brewery inked deals with various distributors and liquor stores in both states.

"Louisiana's got a great beer and food scene and Alaska has a deep beer culture," said New Belgium's sales director, Joe Menetre.
