Loveland's Anthology Book Co. is closing
"Bookselling is not the same business it was 10 years ago when my husband Mark and I purchase Anthology," owner Stephanie Stauder said.
The advent of online bookselling and e-books has been responsible for the closure of many bookstores, both locally and nationally.
Stauder and her husband reinvested in the store last summer. In addition to books, Anthology offers a coffee shop and cafe.
"You can't run a bookstore if you're not selling books," Stauder said in a press release Tuesday.
Anthology, located at 422 E. 4th St., will continue to honor trade credit and gift cards until its closing date, the release said.
