FORT COLLINS - CSU will host its first-ever Global Finance Summit on March 1.

The half-day event will feature a keynote speech by Alice Schroeder, author of the Warren Buffett biography "The Snowball: Warren Buffett and the Business of Life."

The summit will bring together a variety of finance professionals to give commentary and debate on topics relating to the overall state of the global and domestic economy, fiscal policy, investment strategies and business challenges.

Other speakers and panelists will include James Allen, senior vice president of finance for Molycorp Inc. and Robert Webber, vice chairman, CFO and treasurer of Woodward, among others.

The event will feature three sessions moderated by students from CSU's College of Business.
