Symbios Technologies LLC, a Fort Collins-based developer of water and energy technologies, has been awarded a Phase II Small Business Innovation Research grant from the National Science Foundation. This two-year grant was awarded to advance and commercialize Symbios’ Tubular Plasma Reactor for water treatment and improving the economic and environmental impact of domestic oil and gas extraction.
Employees from Anadarko Petroleum Corporation’s Evans office wrapped presents for kids at the Boys & Girls Club of Weld County. In total, more than 400 presents were given to children in need.
The National Institutes of Health has awarded a Small Business Innovation Research grant to Fort Collins-based Ventria Bioscience and the University of Southern California, with the goal of developing a cost-effective method for producing clinical-grade proinsulin-transferrin using Ventria Bioscience’s ExpressTec recombinant expression system, a treatment for diabetes.
