FORT COLLINS — After more than 15 years in its Old Town Square location at 101 N. College Ave., Beau Jo's Pizza Restaurant will be moving into the space now occupied by Gelatoland, on the northwest corner of College and Laporte avenues.

The move will allow the “Colorado style” pizza restaurant to expand its patio and dining area, and have more parking availability.

“With the growth we have experienced and the forecasting for the returning tourism, we knew it was time to look for a larger space,” said Pam Freidentag, the vice president of marketing.

The restaurant will reopen in the new location in fall of this year.

Sammy Q's Gelatoland, which opened in June 2011, will be relinquishing its 10-year lease, and co-owner Kim Steiner said it has no plans to reopen.
