Four-day energy job fair slated for UW Conference Center
This four-day event features 24 companies participating in vendor expos, onsite interviews, networking opportunities, roundtable discussions, short course sessions, and field trips. Over 350 geo-science students from across the nation are expected to attend.
The RMR is one of five regional job fairs sponsored by the American Association of Petroleum Geologists and the Society of Exploration Geophysicists, with this one being the second largest.
Last year, 27 companies participated in the job fair. Approximately 300 students registered for it, including 45 UW students.
Some of the companies participating this year include, ExxonMobil, Chevron, Anadarko, Shell, Halliburton, Encana Oil & Gas, and Schlumberger.
